Surgeon's comment

This very nice lady had had children and had also lost a significant amount of weight. These two combinations made her lost volume from the upper part of her breast and resulted in a low nipple position lying below her natural breast fold. In cases such as this a breast uplift is normally performed to elevate the nipple above the fold, however our patient was not keen for the scars associated with a breast uplift procedure which lie around the nipple and down toward the breast fold. For more information about the scars associated with a breast uplift please look at our before and after photos of uplift surgery. As a compromise to avoid scars patient elected to have a breast implant with NAGOR IMP-HR 460cc implants. These implants were inserted behind the muscle so that the muscle could give the breast support and limit the downward movement of the implant. As you can see our patient does have increased volume in the upper part of her bust but nipples do remain in a slightly low position as was discussed prior to surgery. In close patient felt she looked good with more volume in the upper part of her breast and was happy with result, in particular she was happy to avoid significant scarring around the nipple and the breast itself.
