Patient came forward for a Tummy Tuck procedure in 2013, unhappy about the excess skin on her abdomen due to 2 pregnancies. During the Abdominoplasty operation 350g of tissue was removed from the abdominal area, with muscle repair, and the skin was stitched using absorbable sutures. The after photos were taken 5 weeks post op, when patient came in for a follow-up appointment to have the dressing removed. There is minimal bruising around the scar which will fade in a few weeks time, and the scar will reduce to a fine pink line within the next 6 months. The patient had a good recovery period and is very happy with the appearance of her abdomen so early in the healing process.
