My name is Jane. I’ve been thinking about having this procedure for a long, long time, probably since I was about 30 years old, and I’m now in my 50s. My future sister-in-law had a breast augmentation two years ago now, and she said it was a really, really good procedure by Mr. Richards. She, in actual fact, recommended me to come along and have a consultation.
From the beginning, everything and everybody was really, really good. It was all very positive, and I was really happy to actually book the operation, which I had last June.
Upon arrival at the hospital, everybody was really helpful and really friendly. I had a lovely room and felt really comfortable. I wasn’t nervous at all. I went for the operation, and when I woke up, everything was just fine. I wasn’t in any pain whatsoever.
I was slightly apprehensive on seeing the size of them when I came around, and I was told that they would actually go down. The anaesthetist explained everything that was going to happen, and any doubts that I had evaporated and I was really quite happy. I’m not terribly good with anaesthetic, but I was really happy to go on.
When I woke up, the pain was non-existent, really. It felt a bit tight, but then you expect to have something like that after an operation. The following day, it wasn’t too bad. The pain relief was really good. I had a little bit of bruising, as expected, but I have to say that I was in pain for the first two weeks. I found it quite difficult getting up out of bed after lying down, but that could have been due to my age.
Having said that, I would probably do it all over again, because I just feel amazing now. It’s given me so much confidence. Everything was really, really professional. At the six week follow-up, Mr. Richards gave me the all-clear and said everything was going along really, really well. I would definitely, definitely recommend Mr. Richards to anybody who wanted to have this done.
