Breast enlargement surgery results

What do we recommend?

Breast enlargement surgery should be considered a semi-permanent procedure as it is generally recommended that breast implants be replaced after approximately fifteen years. 

At Aurora Clinics we prefer to assess you regularly at a free annual appointment to check the state of your implants. If you have any concerns we can arrange either ultrasound scans or other examinations to assess the condition of your implants.  In many cases the breasts remain soft and in good shape even after fifteen years and there is no need to replace the implant at that stage as long as you maintain a regular follow up.

It is, however, extremely important to thoroughly research your breast enlargement procedure prior to your operation as this is key to fully understanding the appearance that you will get following certain implants placed either behind or in front of the muscles.

How to get the results you want

It is vital to try as many varieties of breast implant as possible, placed inside specially designed bras, so that you can assess to the best of your ability how a certain implant will affect your bust shape and size.  It is also important to look at before and after pictures of patients with a similar physique to you who have been treated with a variety of size and shape implants so that you can judge the potential final appearance of your bust depending on the implant used.

We would advise that adequate time spent looking at sizes and shapes of implant and researching breast enlargement surgery prior to your operation is invaluable to you in achieving the best possible result for you.
