    PIP Ruptured Implant Removal and Replacement

    Plastic Surgeon Mr Adrian Richards of Aurora Clinics talks us through removal and replacement of a set of ruptured PIP implants.

    This patient originally received 305cc PIP implants in 2003, and a recent ultrasound revealed suspected ruptures in both implants. This is confirmed when the implants are removed, with one found to have a rupture on the rim, and the other where the baseplate meets the rest of the implant.
