Mr Miles Berry

Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon
Mr. Berry has been working as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery for the last fifteen years. He qualified in medicine and pharmacology at University College London in 1991 and went on to do postgraduate study in surgery at London and Manchester, obtaining FRCS in 1996.
As well as spending nearly four years in Manchester as a specialist registrar, Mr. Berry was locum consultant at the eminent Royal Marsden Hospital in London and, after winning a BAPRAS international fellowship, became locum consultant for oncoplastic breast surgery at the renowned Institut Curie in Paris for two years.
He has full registration with the General Medical Council No. 3563405 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons as well as a full member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).
His specialty interests and expertise are in the fields of breast cancer and breast reconstruction, facial surgery, body contouring and labiaplasty (female genital surgery).
Mr. Berry has extensive experience of lecturing at a number of notable institutions. This includes St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Preston and Manchester Universities, and two years at Sydney University as clinical lecturer.
He contributed to the book Plastic Surgery edited by Peter Neligan and is one of the editors of Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery for Breast Surgery: the Institut Curie Experience.
In July 2013, he also co-authored the book 'The Good Boob Bible', which is available at most large bookshops, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
His profound ongoing interest in scientific research is evident from more than 50 of his articles which have been published on issues relating to plastic and cosmetic surgery. He is a regular reviewer for JPRAS, the international journal for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
In addition Mr. Berry has given peer-reviewed presentations at over 55 venues and has a patent registered for innovative research into treatment for breast cancer. He has contributed to media such as Weightwatchers, the Daily Mail and BBC Radio.
