Breast Enlargement Surgery – Will I be able to fly following surgery?
Hello. My name is Adrian Richards and I’m a plastic surgeon working with Aurora Clinics in the United Kingdom. Just going to answer a quick question I’m often asked by patients who are considering breast augmentation surgery, and this is, “Will I be able to fly following the surgery?” The quick answer is yes, not a problem at all, and in fact if you look around the isles, quite a lot of the air stewardesses are not 100% natural. So it’s not a problem. It is a bit of a myth that the implants are going to change with altitude. They’re not going to explode. They’re not going to change in any way. So don’t worry about that. Likewise, you’re not going to get any problems going through the metal detector in the airport. There’s no metal in the implants, so this shouldn’t be a problem at all.
So I hope I’ve clarified that issue. If you would like any more information about breast implants or any of the other procedures performed at Aurora Clinic, please contact us either via the website or via phoning us on 01844 214362. Thank you.
