Gold Thread Facial Rejuvenation Treatment

Hi. My name is Adrian Richards, and I’m going to be talking just a little bit in this video about Gold Thread facial rejuvenation. I must say, this is not a technique I perform myself, but my colleague, Alex Chambers, who works closely with us at Aurora Clinics, does specialise in this treatment. Alex is a consultant dermatologist and has learnt the facial threading techniques in Europe and over the world and is considered one of the main experts in this field in the United Kingdom.

Essentially what Alex would do is insert very fine filaments of gold thread underneath the skin in a latticework. What happens is the body reacts to these gold threads and forms a network, elevating and re-supporting the tissue in your face. Alex would tend to use these treatments really for the cheek areas, jaw line, and neck.

The operation is performed under local anaesthetic with you awake. It does take a significant amount of time to perform, so you will need to be patient during it. But you will notice a really good improvement particularly in the lower face, jaw line, and neck regions. This is a technique that has been used widely throughout the world and, as I mentioned, Alex really is an expert at these treatments.
