Breast Enlargement Surgery – Rachel’s Patient Testimonial
So why I decided to have them done. I’ve been thinking about it since I was about 18, having been very flat chested. So it’s been a long hard journey, and I’ve thought about it a great deal. I also breast fed my daughter for 15 months, and I found that post breast feeding I’d lost even more tissue from my breasts. Really I think it was that that prompted me to make the decision and go for it.
With regard to sizing, I’ve had several consultations with Libby, Mr. Richards’ nurse. She’s been absolutely wonderful, and I had a sizing whereby some prosthetic implants were used to give me some idea of the finished result and I found that completely invaluable. It was marvellous, and, again, that was probably instrumental in me deciding to go for it. I found that really, really useful.
In terms of my experience at hospital, it was 100% more positive than I was anticipating. The pain and what have you afterwards was a lot less than I had prepared myself for. I found the care there the standards and levels absolutely marvellous. I was in overnight. By the time I came out the next day, I was getting myself dressed and felt fairly confident that I could sort of go about my daily business. So again, my expectations were exceeded in that respect, and finally six weeks on I’m almost used to it now. Kind of, yeah, very comfortable in my own skin now. It feels like I’ve never been without them. It hasn’t changed my life, hasn’t made me any happier, but certainly I’ve seen an improvement in confidence and I’m just so pleased that I finally went for it after 15 years of thinking about. So altogether a really positive experience.
