This is a video of breast implant removal and replacement surgery. We pick up the video with the right side already completed. Our patient wanted a fuller appearance and a much larger bust, which is why she is moving to such a large implant. Normally Mr Richards would discuss the risks about going to this size, and the potential stretching of the skin, but as our patient already had reasonably sized implants, the skin will have stretched a bit, without leaving stretchmarks, so the jump in size is not too dramatic. Had the patient requested this size originally, she probably would’ve been talked into going somewhat smaller as there would have been a risk to the skin over-stretching too quickly, leaving large stretch marks on the breasts.
The left implant has also been removed, and Mr Richards is showing us a circular area on the back of the implant, around the baseplate. It is the beginning of a capsule forming, and it is physically stuck to the implant. Mr Richards needs to use a surgical tool to remove it, and he states it feels like it is stuck on with velcro.
We then skip to the final appearance, with our patient having a much larger and fuller appearance to her breasts, leaving her with some excellent results we are sure she will be happy with.
