We continue to bring you video content on our new surgical procedure, the OCEAN™ Breast Enlargement.
The video begins of Mr Richards, stood over the patient who is already anaesthetised, talking us through the procedure. The markings we see are only placed around the nipple and areola areas of the breast, as the implant is being inserted through an incision around the areola.
We skip to the next part of the surgery which shows the skin around the areola, and some of the areola has been removed. The pocket for the implant has also already been created, so it is time to insert the inflatable sizer to gauge the best fit of implants for our patient today. They insert 50cc of saline solution per time until they reach 270cc. They believe this is a good fit for our patient, and stopped when they reached 270cc as that was the size she requested during her consultation.
The next point we see, the sizer has been removed and the implant inserted. All is left is the stitching up for this breast, which Mr Richards talks about before we skip on to the final result. We see a good sized bust, with the tape on the wounds, which are just around the areola.
