This is our second testimonial from Kym, who had her implants removed approximately six weeks prior to this testimonial. She gave us her first testimonial the same day as her surgery. She had a ruptured PIP implant and was very aware of the fact that she had it based on a scan before her surgery. She suffered from many symptoms we come across in patients, which included pains, burning, pins and needles in her arms, confusion, lack of focus and loss of short term memory. Her left nipple also turned black and she had issues sleeping, waking regularly with night sweats. Since the removal of the implants she has felt so much better and hasn’t suffered with any of these symptoms.
Kym also has some good news for us. Her and her partner are expecting their second child, and she fell pregnant shortly after her PIPs were removed, having been trying for a good few months. We can’t claim it was the PIPs that were preventing her from becoming pregnant, but it does seem slightly coincidental that after months of trying, they succeed in six short weeks post removal surgery.
