This video series features the questions we have received about stretched and split earlobes. Stretched earlobes are increasingly common in today’s society, therefore correction of stretches is also becoming more common.
We get loads of questions from patients, some of which we simply answer, but the most frequent, we like to turn into information videos for you, so we have answers to these questions within our Youtube channel and on our website which is instantly accessible.
In this video, Mr. Richards talks about earlobe repair, and whether it can be combined with other procedures. Simply put, it can be. However, earlobe repair is usually performed under local anaesthetic, so to combine it with a procedure that requires a general anaesthetic, we would class it as the earlobe repair is tagging onto the other procedure. Sometimes it might not be ideal to combine two procedures, whereas other times it might be more beneficial to. Our advice would be to discuss with a surgeon, and discover what options you have to achieving your desired results.
