Permalip – What are the pros and cons of a permanent lip enhancement versus injectable treatments?

In this edition of our lip enhancement FAQ series we compare the actual surgery against the more popular and more common, temporary dermal fillers. You will automatically be more naturally drawn to one or the other, so we think this video will help you be more informed when making that decision.
Injectable treatments are temporary, and need topping up roughly once a year. This can be seen as a positive or a negative, as if you want to test what it looks like, then a temporary measure is definitely the way to go. But if you want a permanent solution, without the need for more recovery time, more appointments, and more expense, then the implant is probably more suited to you. We do advise that you try dermal fillers at least once before getting the implant as you may not like your “plumped up” look, or feel you may want a more subtle enhancement, or a bigger one. The point is, dermal fillers, being temporary can help you find your ideal size, before going for actual surgery.
