Aurora Clinics Founder: Hello, my name is Aurora Clinics Founder. I’m a plastic and cosmetic surgeon based in the United Kingdom and the Surgical Director for Aurora Clinics. In this video, I’m going to be taking you step by step through an upper blepharoplasty procedure, which I performed earlier today. In this procedure, I’m going to remove that fold of skin from our patient’s upper eyelids, under local anaesthetics. She’s going to be talking to us about the procedure all the way through, and then we’re going to be showing you her recovery and how she felt after her procedure.

So this is the skin we’re going to remove, between that line and that line here.

Would you mind opening your eyes for me?

So we’re going to remove the skin of the fold on both sides.

So local anaesthetic is going in now. Okay?

Patient: Mm-hmm.

Patient: It’s just like a small pinprick, not too bad.
