Do I need full nose reshaping for a slightly crooked nose?

The bridge of my nose is crooked but not uneven enough for full nose reshaping. However, when I smile, the tip tends to droop downwards and looks like a Roman nose.

Is it possible to have the depressor septi muscle trimmed to prevent dynamic tip ptosis (downward movement of the end of the nose)?

This would work out much cheaper than full nose reshaping. I cannot afford £4000 as I am only a student and my nose does not require any bridge filling or osteotomies.

Thank you very much for your enquiry. It does sound as though you have overactive muscles around the tip of your nose. These can be treated initially with Botulinum Toxin injections which will cause them to weaken. If it is these muscles which are pulling down the tip of the nose this may be a good solution.

Botulinum Toxin injections are fairly affordable and have the advantage of being temporary. It will also give us a good indication of the muscles which are causing your problem.
